Aeon Flux

Friday night I went to see Aeon Flux with Damo and Nomes. We all agreed that it wasn't very good. Visulaly it was great (except for some dodgy CGI at the start), but it none of us could properly understand the story. It takes place 400 years into the future, but it's not really explained how the world's changed. You can see what's going on, and it all looks very nice, but it's very difficult to understand what's going on.
So it's another crappy comic-to-film adaptation, to go alongside Fantastic Four, Spiderman and The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen

i went to see it the other week and thought it was pretty good, i didn't find it confusing and found the mystery of how they knew each other and what was really going on to be done well, with the answers to my questions explained by the end.
They told the story, did you listen?
And maybe not knowing of the comic helped to not have any expectations for me.
sometimes to appreciate someones work we need to think of it as something totally new, like watching it as if you have never seen or heard of anything similar before. like it is an original.

not pointing any of this at you dude, just, trying to make my point.
