'"Badly talented" buskers on Doyle's hit list'


There is one busker I see around the place regularly who really makes me cringe every time I hear him. I cross the road to avoid him because I hate his singing.
All the same, I don't like our new Mayor's plan to ban bad buskers from the city.
Apparently Robert Doyle also said, 'I don't want the city to be a bogan magnet.'
I don't like the sound of that very much. He's basically saying he doesn't want working class people around.

Agreed. Also, choosing how people express themselves artistically, banning those who don't meet a given standard (even if they are terrible) has its own problems.
